Oil prices recorded a significant increase at settlement on Friday, amid concerns over supply disruptions as the war in the Middle East continues.
Brent crude futures rose by $7.87, or 7.78%, to settle at $109.03 per barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also climbed by $11.42, or 11.41%, to reach $111.54 per barrel.
