On Thursday, the Air Algérie flight route connecting Algiers and Addis Ababa was officially relaunched, in a step reflecting a strategic direction toward strengthening Algeria’s air connectivity with the African continent.
Algeria’s Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative, Mohamed Khaled, oversaw the reception of the first flight at Addis Ababa airport, accompanied by the embassy staff.
This step comes as part of the implementation of instructions from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at strengthening Algeria’s presence in Africa and embodying efforts to consolidate the historical relations of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and Ethiopia.
