Oil prices rose at the start of trading today, Monday. Brent crude futures increased by $2.4, or 2.2 percent, to reach $111.43 per barrel.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also rose by three dollars, or 2.7 percent, to reach $114.57 per barrel.
