The Wali of Batna, Ben Ahmed Riyadh, visited the municipality of Zana El Beida on Monday to inspect the progress of the Sokon Algeria factory, which is dedicated to the assembly of cars, trucks, and buses.
According to a statement from the province, the Wali emphasized the necessity of accelerating the pace of construction and adhering to the delivery deadlines for the first production line—one of three planned lines—by the end of this summer, as confirmed by the project managers.
The project is expected to contribute to job creation by providing more than 450 permanent positions and approximately 900 non-permanent jobs, which will support the employment sector in the province and provide opportunities for local youth.
This industrial project is part of efforts to support and develop the investment climate and enhance economic activity in the province, particularly after the removal of all obstacles and the connection of the site to various vital networks to ensure it begins operations under optimal conditions.
