Algiers – The President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, arrived in Algiers this Thursday morning for an official working visit aimed at strengthening cooperation between the global football governing body and Algeria.Infantino was welcomed upon his arrival by the President of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Walid Sadi. This visit marks the FIFA chief’s second official trip to the country, following his 2023 visit for the inauguration of the Nelson Mandela Stadium.Focus on Infrastructure and Youth DevelopmentA primary objective of this visit is the official inauguration of the new Regional Technical Training Center in Tlemcen (Lalla Setti).
