Algeria has officially launched the Algeria Bid Round 2026, reaffirming its commitment to supporting partners at every stage — from bid document acquisition to contract signing.
Minister of State for Hydrocarbons Mohamed Arkab told dzwatch that the initiative marks a new and significant phase in Algeria’s hydrocarbon sector development, aligned with President Tebboune’s strategic vision to enhance sector attractiveness, maximize national resources, and solidify Algeria’s status as a reliable energy investment destination.
Arkab emphasized that Algeria’s strategic proximity to Europe, advanced infrastructure, qualified workforce, and growing renewable energy capacity position the country as a leading regional energy hub.
He also highlighted the Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline (TSGP) as a landmark structural project reinforcing Algeria’s role in guaranteeing stable, uninterrupted global energy supplies — even under the most challenging international conditions.
