Algeria, Nigeria, and Niger have officially launched the construction of the Algerian segment of the Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline (TSGP). The ceremony, held in Ulf, Adrar province, was attended by key energy ministers from the three nations: Mr. Mohamed Arkab, Minister of Energy and Mines of Algeria; Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; and Mr. Hamadou Tondy, Minister of Petroleum of the Republic of Niger.

This pivotal project aims to enhance energy security and foster economic development across the participating countries.
