Belgium Dominates Tunisia in 5-0 Friendly Victory Ahead of World Cup Qualifiers

Belgium secured a commanding 5-0 friendly victory over Tunisia on Saturday evening at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels. The match served as a crucial warm-up for both nations in their preparations for the 2026 World Cup.

From the outset, the Belgian team asserted control over the game. Leandro Trossard opened the scoring in the 28th minute, followed by Charles De Ketelaere who doubled the lead in the 53rd minute. Kevin De Bruyne further extended Belgium's advantage with a third goal in the 65th minute.

The attacking pressure from the Belgian side continued into the final minutes. Dodi Lukebakio added a fourth goal in the 85th minute, and Nicolas Raskin completed the rout with a fifth goal just two minutes later, in the 87th minute.

The encounter took a difficult turn for the Tunisian team when Ismael Gharbi received a red card in the 62nd minute, compounding their challenges against Belgium's relentless offensive play.

Tunisia is set to compete in the 2026 World Cup, placed in Group F alongside the Netherlands, Japan, and Sweden. Belgium, meanwhile, will feature in Group G with Egypt, Iran, and New Zealand.
