Algerian Parliament Speaker Brahim Boughali met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire to Algeria, Alphonse Foeu Sahy, at the Parliament headquarters. The ambassador paid a farewell visit to Mr. Boughali on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission in Algeria.

According to a statement from the People's National Assembly, Boughali highlighted the strong existing relations between Algeria and Côte d'Ivoire and reviewed the various aspects of cooperation between the two nations. He particularly commended the efforts made by Ambassador Sahy in strengthening and developing these ties during his tenure in Algeria.
Ambassador Sahy expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and praised the level of relations between the two countries. He called for continued efforts to bolster these connections, especially in economic fields, to meet the aspirations of both Algeria and Côte d'Ivoire.
