160 New Buses Delivered to Five Wilayas by Defense Sector

The Military Industries Directorate of the Ministry of National Defense has delivered a shipment of 160 large-capacity buses at the industrial site in Rouiba. These buses are designated for public urban and inter-wilaya transport institutions across five wilayas: Blida, Tiaret, Sétif, M'Sila, and Bordj Bou Arréridj.

This operation is implemented within the framework of a program spearheaded by the President of the Republic, who serves as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense. The program's objective is to procure 10,000 new buses, aimed at modernizing the national passenger transport fleet and significantly enhancing the quality of public transport services for citizens. The process is being closely overseen by Lieutenant General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army.

The Ministry of National Defense confirmed that the delivery of new buses will continue sequentially in the coming periods to meet the needs of all wilayas nationwide. This ongoing effort underscores the pivotal role of the national military industry in supporting key service and developmental sectors, thereby contributing to the continuous improvement of public transport infrastructure and accessibility for citizens across various regions.
