Saidal Director General Monitors Batna Paracetamol Project

Saidal Group's Director General, Younes Bouarara, conducted a working and inspection visit to the paracetamol raw material production project site in Batna. The visit aimed to monitor the progress of its implementation, consistent with directives from Pharmaceutical Industry Minister Ouassim Kouidri regarding the advancement of Saidal Group's strategic public projects. Bouarara was accompanied by Hanane Houfani, Director of the Commercial Unit East, along with other executives and officials from the group.
During the inspection, the Director General received a detailed presentation on the project's status and progress, which indicated an overall completion rate of approximately 75%. All necessary equipment required for the project's launch has been received. Bouarara reviewed various technical and administrative aspects, as well as identified any obstacles or pending issues, subsequently issuing instructions to address them and enhance coordination among relevant parties.
Following the briefing, Bouarara chaired a meeting with group executives and representatives from the construction and study companies to examine the identified challenges and propose practical solutions. He underscored the need to unify efforts and intensify on-site monitoring to ensure the project's timely completion and delivery. This paracetamol raw material production initiative is considered strategically important, aligning with Algeria's goals to reinforce its health and industrial sovereignty. It is designed to develop national capacities for pharmaceutical raw material production, thereby reducing external dependence and decreasing import costs, ultimately contributing to a continuous supply of essential medicines.
