National Team Prepares in Sidi Moussa for Bujumbura Match

The Algerian national football team has recommenced training sessions at the National Technical Center (CTN) in Sidi Moussa. This intensive preparation is focused on their upcoming match against Burundi, scheduled for this Tuesday at 2:00 PM in Bujumbura. This encounter marks the second day of the CAN 2027 qualifiers, with the team comprising 24 players.

The training regimen was carefully adapted, taking into account each player's game time during their previous match against Zambia. Players who started that game engaged in recovery work within the gym to facilitate their recuperation. Concurrently, the remaining members of the squad participated in a rigorous session that emphasized physical conditioning and technical-tactical drills.

The national team is set to travel to Bujumbura this Sunday, with departure planned for 10:00 AM aboard a special flight operated by the national carrier, Air Algérie. The 24-player squad reflects recent changes, following the exclusion of Rayan Aït Nouri and the confirmed injury of Amine Gouiri, as the team focuses on its crucial qualifier.
