Algiers – On the sidelines of the European Hydrogen Week held in Brussels from November 18 to 22, Sonatrach’s CEO, Rachid Hachichi, held a meeting today, Tuesday, with representatives of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Algerian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK).
The discussions, attended by Sonatrach’s senior management, focused on Algerian-German cooperation in green hydrogen and renewable energy projects supported by GIZ, according to a statement from the public energy group.
Sonatrach’s participation in European Hydrogen Week aims to strengthen collaboration with international partners and exchange expertise in hydrogen development and renewable energy sectors. This initiative is part of the company’s broader strategy to accelerate energy transition and promote sustainable development.
