Bejaia’s Public Transport Network Gains 20 New Buses

The public and semi-public urban transport company in Bejaia province has received a delivery of 20 new buses. These vehicles are equipped with modern technologies designed to meet current safety and comfort standards for passengers. Immediately following their receipt, 10 of these new buses commenced operations at Bejaia's land transport station, providing an immediate enhancement to the local transport network.
The introduction of these new buses is set to significantly facilitate citizen movement and address the growing demand for public transport services within the province. This initiative aims to elevate the overall quality of public service. The remaining 10 buses are anticipated to enter service in the coming hours, further strengthening Bejaia's transport capacity and improving travel conditions for residents.
This development in Bejaia aligns with a broader national strategy, specifically implementing President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's decision to renew the national transport fleet. The entire operation is conducted under the direct supervision and oversight of Saïd Sayoud, the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport, underscoring the government's commitment to modernizing public services across the country.
