CRCEG, Algeria Partner for Vocational Skill Exchange

Algeria's Ministry of Vocational Training and Education recently signed a partnership agreement with the Chinese CRCEG group, signaling a commitment to bolster cooperation in vocational training. The accord focuses on the exchange of expertise, transfer of knowledge and technologies, and the launch of specialized training programs. The signing ceremony, held at the Ministry's headquarters, was overseen by Minister of Vocational Training and Education Nassima Ahrab, with the Chinese Ambassador to Algeria, Dong Guangli, and the head of the Chinese group in attendance.

This partnership aims to develop the professional skills of Algerian competencies, aligning them with technical transformations and the demands of the labor market. Key objectives include organizing specialized training programs for cadres and employees, qualifying young talents, fostering a culture of continuous training, and improving institutional performance. The Chinese Ambassador highlighted that vocational training and skill development are crucial for enhancing employment opportunities for Algerian youth and supporting the nation's economic and social advancement, reaffirming China's readiness to deepen cooperation.

Minister Ahrab emphasized the importance of translating these agreements into practical programs and concrete projects that facilitate the exchange of expertise and the transfer of knowledge and technologies. She underscored the significance of strengthening coordination between both sides to expand areas of cooperation for mutual benefit, positioning investment in human resources as a central aspect of this collaboration. The signing was part of a broader Algerian-Chinese event focused on cooperation between educational institutions and companies, under the theme “The Silk Road unites us in Algeria, integration and empowerment for a common future,” reflecting the deep historical relations and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations.
