Evaneos Supports Equitable Algerian Tourism Through Local Partnerships
French travel platform Evaneos is advancing equitable and responsible tourism in Algeria by developing custom-made trips in direct partnership with local Algerian agencies. This approach aims to deliver local economic benefits while offering authentic travel experiences.

Evaneos, a French travel platform, is actively promoting equitable and responsible tourism within Algeria through a collaborative model. The company designs custom-made trips across the country directly with local Algerian agencies. This approach is intended to merge tourism with tangible local economic benefits and sustainable practices, emphasizing a promise of "tailor-made and more responsible travel directly with the best local agencies."
Central to Evaneos's strategy is significant local integration. Travel experiences are developed in conjunction with tourism professionals based within Algeria itself, avoiding sole reliance on intermediaries established in France. Evaneos maintains an Algerian team of eight individuals, described as specialists in authentic travel within the country. This setup facilitates diverse experiences for travelers, including direct interactions with local inhabitants, guidance from local experts, treks through the Kabyle mountains, home-cooked meals in Tlemcen, and traditional accommodation in Ghardaïa.
The platform offers a variety of itineraries, with prices ranging from 1,560 € per person for a 7-day trip between Alger and Tipaza, to 2,900 € for 9 days in the Tassili n’Ajjer. Other options include Ghardaïa from 1,760 €, the M’Zab Valley for 1,940 €, and a 10-day circuit in Eastern Algeria starting at 2,270 €. Evaneos advises travelers to visit during spring and autumn, advocating for walking and cycling, and encouraging the use of collective transport when feasible. This comprehensive approach underscores the platform’s ambition for tourism that is "more sustainable for the destination, those who travel there and those who live there."
