Hajj 1448 AH Preparations: Algeria Participates in the 6th Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah
An Algerian delegation led by Religious Affairs SG Dr. Redouane Maach is participating in the Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah to early prepare for the 1448 AH/2027 Hajj season.
Dr. Redouane Maach, Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, is leading the Algerian delegation participating in the 6th edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from November 8 to 11, 2026, under the slogan "From Mecca to the World."
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs statement, the delegation includes Dr. Tahar Braik, Director General of the National Office for Hajj and Umrah (ONHO), alongside central administration and ONHO officials. This participation aims to strengthen coordination with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to oversee arrangements for the 1448 AH/2027 Hajj season, specifically finalizing contracts concerning accommodation, transport, catering, and field services to ensure optimal conditions for Algerian pilgrims. The agenda features attendance at the heads of Hajj affairs offices meeting with the Saudi Minister, alongside exploring modern technological and operational solutions in transport, housing, health, and hospitality.
This engagement reflects Algeria's commitment to early tracking and rigorous preparation for the Hajj season, guaranteeing comprehensive support for Algerian pilgrims throughout all stages of their journey.
