President Tebboune Receives Global Tributes for 72nd Revolution Anniversary

The 72nd anniversary of Algeria's Glorious November 1st Revolution has been commemorated with a continued outpouring of international goodwill, as President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received congratulatory messages from leaders of numerous countries and sovereigns. Among these well-wishes was a message from Italian President Sergio Mattarella, who expressed positive prospects for the bilateral partnership between the two nations. These diplomatic acknowledgments underscore the global recognition of Algeria's historical significance.

In parallel with the international greetings, Algeria also focused on honoring the heroes of the revolution's external front. Sofiane Chaïb, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the National Community abroad, participated remotely in ceremonies organized by consular centers overseas. During these events, tribute was paid to the sacrifices of martyrs and the Moudjahidine and Moudjahidate, emphasizing the crucial historical role played by the Algerian community living abroad in supporting the Revolution and defending the national cause.

A significant new initiative was launched by the Ministry of Moudjahidine and Rights Holders, specifically aimed at honoring Moudjahidine and Moudjahidate residing outside Algeria. The implementation of this initiative commenced with the presentation of honorary certificates, signed by the Minister, to a group of Moudjahidine within the consular districts of Strasbourg, Metz, and Besançon. This program, which is set to be periodically expanded to Moudjahidine in various other diplomatic and consular districts, reflects the Algerian state's commitment to fidelity and recognition for those who contributed to the country's liberation.

The state places a constant priority on preserving the national memory and ensuring its transmission to younger generations, aligning with the high authorities' dedication to safeguarding and enhancing this historical legacy. Secretary of State Chaïb further stressed the importance of strengthening ties between members of the national community abroad and their home country, particularly among the youth, acknowledging their attachment to Algeria, its history, and their ongoing willingness to contribute to the homeland.
