Special Envoy Attaf Delivers Tebboune's Letter in Niger

Ahmed Attaf, State Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, was received by Nigerien President General Abdourahamane Tiani during a visit to Niger as a special envoy for President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Mr. Attaf delivered a written message from President Tebboune, conveying the Algerian President's profound satisfaction with the advanced state of bilateral relations across various sectors and reiterating his resolve to continue working towards their strengthening.

During their meeting, Mr. Attaf and President Tiani reviewed the latest developments in the Sahel region, alongside other regional and international matters of mutual concern. Mr. Attaf emphasized Algeria's readiness to collaborate with all countries in the region to support security and stability, and to enhance coordination and joint cooperation, thereby serving the collective interests of the region's nations and peoples.

In a separate engagement, Mr. Attaf held discussions with his Nigerien counterpart, Bakary Yaou Sangare. These talks offered an opportunity to assess the current status of bilateral relations between the two nations and explore avenues for enhancing and expanding joint cooperation in diverse fields. Both ministers expressed satisfaction with the progress made in implementing projects and commitments established by President Tebboune and President Tiani, commending the pace of achievements and the shared commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation.

Concluding their discussions, both Algerian and Nigerien officials reaffirmed their dedication to sustained coordination, consultation, and joint efforts.
