Youth Ministry Launches National Volunteering Effort
The Ministry of Youth has launched a national initiative mobilizing young Algerians across all wilayas for volunteering and the rehabilitation of youth institutions. This program aims to improve public facilities and foster civic engagement among the younger generation.

The Ministry of Youth initiated a national program on Saturday aimed at promoting volunteering and improving youth institutions. This initiative encourages young people across all wilayas of Algeria to participate, with the goal of enhancing both the internal and external environments of youth spaces while fostering a culture of citizenship and voluntary work. The program was launched from the Higher School of Youth Leadership Sciences and Technologies in Tqasrain, located in the capital, coinciding with the 72nd anniversary of the outbreak of the Liberation Revolution.
As part of this nationwide effort, youth volunteers have engaged in various rehabilitation and decoration activities within youth institutions. These activities incorporate creative touches specifically designed to meet the needs of the young participants and beneficiaries. The initiative encompasses a wide range of facilities, including various institutions and structures within the youth sector, alongside training institutes and other supervised establishments.
To ensure the sustained success and impact of the program, the initiative is scheduled to be organized periodically on the first Saturday of every month. This regular commitment aims to firmly establish a strong culture of volunteering among Algerian youth and ensure the long-term preservation and upkeep of essential youth facilities across the nation.
