Algiers – The seven OPEC+ countries have decided to keep their oil production levels unchanged for December 2026, following a coordination ministerial meeting held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, via videoconference, with the participation of Minister of State and Minister of Hydrocarbons Mohamed Arkab.
The meeting brought together ministers and representatives of Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Oman and Russia, the countries that have the capacity to make voluntary adjustments to their production levels.
The meeting was devoted to reviewing the state of the international oil market and its outlook, and assessing market fundamentals amid uncertainty and shifts in the global economic and energy environment.
After an exchange of views, and based on their joint assessment of current market conditions and short-term prospects, the participants agreed to hold production levels steady. Algeria's output will remain at 1.007 million barrels per day for the same month.
The seven countries reaffirmed their commitment to close coordination and continued communication, in order to closely monitor developments in the global oil market and regularly assess its conditions.
The next ministerial meeting of the seven OPEC+ countries is scheduled for November 29, 2026.
