Readiness to Launch Manufacturing at the Heart of Industry Minister's Meeting with Hyundai Delegation

Minister of Industry Prof. Farid Kortel received a delegation from Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Algeria on Saturday.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Industry, the meeting took place at the Ministry's headquarters in the presence of representatives of Korean subcontracting companies active in the manufacture of spare parts and automotive components, along with Ministry officials. It was devoted to assessing the progress of the company's investment project in Algeria and its readiness to begin actual manufacturing operations.
The meeting also addressed ways to develop industrial partnerships with Korean suppliers and subcontractors and to expand cooperation opportunities with local partners, particularly Algerian subcontracting firms, in order to promote the localization of automotive component manufacturing and raise the local integration rate.
The same source added that emphasis was placed on the industry sector's continued support for the project and the provision of the necessary assistance to fulfill its requirements, by strengthening coordination among all stakeholders, thereby helping to speed its entry into production.
