Prime Minister Sifi Ghrib reaffirmed the state's support for genuine farmers while warning against resistance to reform and speculation in the agricultural sector.

Addressing the ongoing reform of the agricultural sector, Prime Minister Sifi Ghrib reaffirmed the government's full support for genuine farmers while issuing a stern warning against speculation and resistance to structural change.
Speaking on government policy executed under presidential directives, the Prime Minister stated that state authorities remain fully committed to supporting legitimate agricultural producers while blocking intrusion and speculative practices. He emphasized that transparency and reform in agriculture are non-negotiable, acknowledging that pushback is expected from entities accustomed to rent-seeking and regulatory evasion.
Ghrib reassured working farmers of the state's continued backing, provided operations remain within the legal framework. However, he made clear that strict legal measures will be enforced against those seeking to bypass regulations, highlighting national food security as a critical priority that cannot be compromised.
