Mercato: Bayern Munich Locks Down Ibrahim Maza's Future
Bayern Munich rules out any winter departure for Algerian international Ibrahim Maza, as the player shines and voices his ambition to win the Ballon d'Or.

Bayern Munich management has put an end to speculation linking Algerian international Ibrahim Maza with a departure during the upcoming winter transfer window, firmly shutting the door on any potential exit.
Press reports had previously fueled rumors regarding the young talent's future amid growing interest from several top European clubs following his impressive performances. However, club officials have decided that Maza will not be allowed to leave under any circumstances during the winter market. A club source also dismissed reports of official interest or movement from Paris Saint-Germain, clarifying that such claims lack official foundation and securing the player's presence with the Bavarian giants.
These developments follow Maza's remarks to Sky Sports and RMC Sport, where he openly expressed his career ambitions. The young star named Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Barcelona, alongside Paris Saint-Germain, as his dream clubs. He did not hide his ultimate goals, stating his desire to win the UEFA Champions League and compete for the Ballon d'Or among the world's elite players. Maza, who turned 21 in November 2026, has enjoyed a stellar breakout season with 4 goals and 3 assists in 12 appearances across all competitions, boosting his market value and earning a 9th-place finish in the 2025–2026 Kopa Trophy, which included special recognition and a top vote from Argentine legend Lionel Messi.
