Algerian trade inspectors, operating under the Ministry of Internal Trade and Market Regulation, conducted extensive field operations across the country on Wednesday to ensure the availability of essential consumer goods during the New Year’s holiday.
According to a statement from the Ministry, the inspections targeted key consumer staples, including coffee, legumes, and cooking oil, as well as other critical items necessary for everyday use.
The operations were not limited to markets and retail shops. Inspectors also closely monitored bakery operations to ensure adequate supplies of bread, meeting the needs of citizens during the holiday period.
