Mila – The 14th edition of the National Cultural Festival of Aissawa will take place in Mila from March 8 to 11, 2025, according to festival governor Boukhmisa Boubliha, as reported on Sunday.
The source explained that the theme for this edition, “Aissawa: The Necessity of Documentation and the Imperative of Localization,” will be hosted at the Mabrouk Melili Cultural Center in Mila.
During this year’s festival, specialized Aissawa music groups from various regions of the country will be invited to highlight the unique characteristics of this intangible cultural heritage. This will also provide entertainment for audiences who appreciate this art form in Mila and its surrounding areas, according to the same source.
Applications for participation have been open since February 4 and will continue until February 20. A specialized technical committee will then select the qualified groups to participate in the program for this edition.
In addition to the artistic program, the festival will feature lectures delivered by expert professors, alongside regional artistic performances in the major municipalities of the province.
