General Union of Traders and Artisans Praises Commitment to Duty Schedules During Eid al-Fitr HolidayAlgiers

The General Union of Algerian Traders and Artisans commended traders on Friday for adhering to duty schedules during the recent Eid al-Fitr holiday, urging them to keep their shops open over the weekend to ensure continuous supply and meet citizens’ needs, according to a union statement.

The union praised traders, economic operators, and service providers who followed the schedule during Eid and Thursday, highlighting their “national spirit and social responsibility in providing goods and services.” It also recognized the efforts of the Ministry of Internal Trade and Market Regulation’s staff, noting the role of the recently launched “Murafiq.com” app in “facilitating identification of on-duty traders, enhancing cooperation, support, and transparency.”

The statement called on traders to “continue opening their businesses during the weekend coinciding with the Eid holiday to maintain supply and address public needs.”
