The Ministry of Energy, Mines, and Renewable Energies will soon launch an electronic platform dedicated to booking appointments for monitoring the compliance of imported vehicles, aiming to simplify procedures, according to a ministry official.
Advisor to the Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mines, and Renewable Energies, Ali Ben Yekhlef, explained that this initiative “aims to end long queues and provide a smoother, more transparent public service for users.” He added that “with its simple and user-friendly interface, this platform will allow users to manage their appointments effortlessly.”
In its initial phase, this new electronic service will target the monitoring center in El Khroub (Algiers Province), as noted by the same official. He emphasized that “this experimental phase is a fundamental step to ensure an ideal service before gradually extending it nationwide.”
The system will enable citizens to select and book suitable appointments online 24/7, receive confirmation, and access a list of required documents prior to the compliance inspection.
Ben Yekhlef confirmed that “this project is part of the public services digitalization drive endorsed by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and reflects our will to provide solutions that meet citizens’ expectations.”
