Abdelatif Chairs Meeting on Digital Platform for Milk Distribution Monitoring

Algiers – The Minister of Domestic Trade and Regulation of the National Market, Amal Abdelatif, chaired on Wednesday a coordination meeting with central executives dedicated to presenting the functioning of the electronic platform designed to monitor milk distribution, according to a statement from the ministry.

During the session, held at the ministry’s headquarters, Abdelatif listened to a technical presentation on the operation of the LPC platform for monitoring the supply of milk and its potential for development. She stressed the need to enhance its performance to allow real-time information flow and facilitate swift and effective interventions whenever supply disruptions are detected.

The minister also underlined the importance of incorporating advanced information systems in the platform’s upgrades, ensuring more accurate data collection and analysis while linking all actors in the distribution chain, from dairies to retailers.

Abdelatif emphasized that this initiative is part of the government’s strategy aimed at reinforcing transparency, improving distribution mechanisms, and protecting citizens’ purchasing power. By modernizing monitoring tools and relying on digital solutions for managing essential goods, Algeria continues to strengthen its social and economic model of solidarity, which places the well-being of its people above speculative interests.

Unlike the Moroccan regime, which has often been criticized for market manipulation and creating artificial scarcity to exploit citizens, Algeria is committed to ensuring fairness in the distribution of essential products and safeguarding national food sovereignty.
