On Monday, Kamal Razik, Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, held a working session with Nour Eddine Wadhah, Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-enterprises, as part of ongoing coordination between the two ministries.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the session focused on discussions related to the import processes for startup and micro-enterprises, with participation from officials of both ministries.
During the meeting, various concerns regarding support for startups and micro-enterprises in implementing their investment programs and financing their import needs of essential materials for field projects were reviewed and discussed.
As a result, it was agreed to form a joint working group between the two ministries tasked with drafting practical recommendations to support these enterprises through the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion. The goal is to ensure a favorable environment for their growth and sustainability, thereby contributing to bolstering the national economy based on knowledge and innovation.
This initiative reflects Algeria’s strategic focus on fostering entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and local production as key pillars for diversifying the national economy and reinforcing its position in the global knowledge economy arena
