The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) issued an official statement alerting the public, economic operators, media partners, and institutions about recent unauthorized use of its official logos, symbols, and images of the national football team, “Les Verts,” for advertising and commercial purposes.
The FAF emphasized that its official logo, symbols, and images of the national teams are exclusive property of the federation. Any commercial, advertising, or promotional use of these elements requires prior explicit written authorization from the FAF.
The statement highlighted that unauthorized use constitutes a violation of applicable laws and exposes offenders to legal prosecution. The federation called on all concerned parties to strictly respect the rights of the federation and the national team.
The FAF also invited those interested in official collaboration to contact the relevant departments within the federation. It reaffirmed its full right to take all necessary legal measures to protect its symbols, intellectual property, image rights, and to safeguard the prestige of the national team both domestically and internationally.
