Minister Belaribi Inspects Sidi Moussa Credit Hub Project in Algiers

      Algiers, Algeria – October 13, 2025 – Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and City Development, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, conducted a working visit to Sidi Moussa, Algiers, on Monday to oversee preparations for the construction of the modern Credit Hub project. The visit, aimed at accelerating the project's launch, underscores the government's commitment to developing modern urban infrastructure in the capital.

The National Agency for the Realization of Investment in Equipment (ANIREF) has been appointed to manage the project, while construction giant COSIDER has been tasked with executing the works. COSIDER Studies Office will be responsible for the project’s study and monitoring phases.

During the site visit, Minister Belaribi received a detailed technical presentation focusing on the administrative wing of the project (ZONE 01). He reviewed the progress of preparatory work necessary for the commencement of construction. The Credit Hub is envisioned as a modern and comprehensive financial center, contributing significantly to the economic landscape of Algiers.

At the conclusion of the visit, Minister Belaribi issued several key directives aimed at expediting the project timeline. These included:

  • Accelerating Study Completion: Shortening the duration of ongoing studies to facilitate the prompt commencement of construction activities.
  • Finalizing Technical Studies: Ensuring the completion of all necessary technical studies related to the project.
  • Expediting Site Installation: Prioritizing the establishment of the construction site, including the installation of a concrete plant and lifting equipment.
  • Initiating Steel Structure Procurement: Promptly ordering and preparing the required steel structures for the project.
  • Dedicated Task Forces: Forming dedicated teams for each facility within the Credit Hub, operating on a continuous (3×8 hour) shift system to maximize construction speed.
  • Project Deadline: Setting a firm deadline of 24 months for the completion and delivery of the entire Credit Hub project.

Minister Belaribi emphasized the importance of adhering to the established timeline and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the construction process. The Credit Hub is expected to not only enhance the financial infrastructure of Algiers but also create numerous job opportunities and stimulate economic growth in the region. The project represents a significant investment in Algeria’s future and highlights the government’s commitment to sustainable urban development.
