Ramadan Grant 2026: Registration Opens, Eligibility Details

Algiers – The Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities, and National Planning has announced the commencement of registration for the Ramadan solidarity grant for the year 1447 AH / 2026 AD. This financial assistance, valued at DZD 10,000, aims to support vulnerable families during the holy month.

Registration began on Sunday, November 9, 2025, and will remain open for 30 days. This initiative follows directives from the highest authorities to ensure that needy families and those with limited incomes receive crucial support during Ramadan.

The registration period concludes on December 8, 2025. Final lists of beneficiaries will be compiled after the annual review of the digital card for individuals meeting the grant’s eligibility criteria.

Applicants can register through two methods:

  1. Online Platform: Citizens with biometric national identification cards can register via the Ministry of Interior’s official online platform: https://prestations.interieur.gov.dz/solidariteramdhan
  2. Local Municipality: Individuals can visit their local municipality headquarters and complete the grant application form, also available on the ministry’s official website.

The Ministry of Interior emphasizes that the grant is exclusively intended for vulnerable families meeting the conditions outlined in Executive Decree No. 25-86, dated February 23, 2025. Key eligibility requirements include:

  • Both spouses must be unemployed and without income.
  • The family’s net monthly income must not exceed DZD 20,000.
  • The family’s social and economic circumstances must demonstrate instability or limited resources.

Important Note: Beneficiaries of the Ramadan 2025 grant are also required to renew their applications within the specified timeframe to confirm their continued eligibility for 2026.
