Internal Trade: Comprehensive Plan to Modernize Management Tools

Algiers – The Minister of Internal Trade and Regulation of the National Market, Amal Abdelatif, met yesterday evening with members of the National Council of Trade Sector Employees, affiliated with the National Autonomous Union of Public Administration Employees. The meeting, held in the presence of central ministry officials, underscores the ministry’s commitment to a participatory approach.

According to a ministry statement, this meeting is part of a collaborative approach within the sector, based on continuous dialogue and consultation with various social partners. The aim is to find practical solutions that will improve working conditions and enhance professional performance.

After listening to the concerns raised, Minister Abdelatif emphasized that modernizing the sector requires investing in human capital through continuous training, modernizing work methods, and providing suitable conditions for agents and executives to perform their duties optimally.

The Minister stressed that the ministry is proceeding with the implementation of a comprehensive plan to develop management tools and integrate digital solutions within an approach that relies on transparency and efficiency. This aims to keep pace with economic changes, enhance consumer protection, and regulate the national market.

In closing, the Minister praised the spirit of responsibility and openness that characterized the dialogue, affirming that these meetings will continue periodically to embody the sector’s vision and ensure the effective participation of all actors in the modernization process.

The ministry aims to strengthen the national economy, boost internal commerce and protect consumers. The plan is expected to roll out in phases over the next two years.
