Rzik Emphasizes Activation of Algerian-Brazilian Business Council

Algiers, November 10, 2025 – Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamal Rzik, has underscored the importance of activating the Algerian-Brazilian Business Council to bolster economic cooperation between the two nations.

The Minister’s remarks came during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Algeria, Marcos Vinicius Pinta Gama, at the Ministry headquarters. The discussions focused on ways to develop trade relations and enhance economic collaboration between Algeria and Brazil.

According to a statement released by the Ministry, Minister Rzik emphasized the crucial role of the Algerian-Brazilian Business Council as a permanent framework for coordinating exchanges and facilitating partnerships between institutions from both countries. He specifically highlighted the potential for collaboration in the fields of food products and agro-processing industries.

Furthermore, Minister Rzik stressed the necessity of exchanging expertise in sectors of mutual interest, within the framework of a win-win cooperation model. He believes that leveraging each other’s strengths will lead to significant economic benefits for both Algeria and Brazil.
