Algiers – Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria, Ahmed Attaf, held separate meetings today with the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Algeria, Mr. Mohamad Alami Musa, and the representative of the World Bank.
According to a statement released by the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Attaf received Mr. Mohamad Alami Musa at the ministry headquarters. Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for increased cooperation between Algeria and Singapore in various sectors.
Later in the day, Minister Attaf also received Ms. Jamila Bayoglu Hiran. She presented her credentials as the representative of the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to Algeria.
The meeting with Ms. Hiran provided an opportunity to discuss the World Bank’s ongoing projects and future initiatives in Algeria. Discussions centered on supporting Algeria’s economic diversification efforts and promoting sustainable development across various sectors. The Foreign Minister reiterated Algeria’s commitment to working closely with the World Bank to achieve its development goals.
These diplomatic engagements underscore Algeria’s commitment to fostering strong relationships with international partners and attracting foreign investment to support its economic growth agenda.
