Severe Wind Warning Issued for Western and Interior Provinces

Algiers, DZWatch – The National Meteorological Office has issued a special weather alert warning of strong winds expected to impact several western and interior provinces of Algeria tomorrow, Thursday. Residents are urged to take necessary precautions.

According to the weather advisory, the provinces of Ain Temouchent, Tlemcen, Mostaganem, Oran, Mascara, and Relizane are expected to experience strong winds with gusts exceeding 80 kilometers per hour. This period of intense wind activity is forecast to begin at 9:00 AM on Thursday and continue until 6:00 AM on Friday.

The warning extends to the provinces of Naama, Sidi Bel Abbes, El Bayadh, Tiaret, and Saida, where wind speeds are anticipated to surpass 90 kilometers per hour. These conditions are expected to prevail from 9:00 AM on Thursday until noon on Friday.
