In the second half, Algeria regained the advantage with a goal from Nassim El Ghoul in the 66th minute. Despite holding the lead, the Egyptian team mounted a comeback. Ragab Nabil equalized in the 80th minute, followed by Hossam Hassan, who scored the winning goal in the 89th minute, securing a 3-2 victory for the home side.
The Algerian squad, a second-string selection, is undergoing intensive preparations for the Arab Cup.
