Domestic Airline Launches New Flight Program to Boost Regional Connectivity

In a move aimed at strengthening air links between Algeria’s various regions, the national domestic airline has announced the launch of a new flight program. This initiative aligns with the government’s broader strategy to improve passenger mobility and foster economic development across the country.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport, the new program incorporates several domestic destinations with flights scheduled throughout the week to cater to passenger needs. The program includes new routes designed to connect remote areas with major economic and administrative centers.

Specifically, the new schedule features a Tamanrasset-Bordj Badji Mokhtar route, operating every Friday with round-trip flights. Additionally, a Constantine-Illizi route will be available on Wednesdays and Saturdays, also offering round-trip service.

Further expanding the domestic network, the program introduces a Tamanrasset-Djanet route on Mondays, and a Algiers-Djanet route on Wednesdays. The airline will also operate flights connecting Bechar and Oran on Sundays, and Algiers-Bechar flights on Sundays and Wednesdays.

This expanded flight program is expected to significantly improve domestic air travel, making it easier for people to travel between regions and supporting local economic growth. The increased connectivity is hoped to stimulate business and tourism, further contributing to the overall development of the regions involved.

The airline anticipates that the new routes will be popular with both business and leisure travelers, providing a convenient and efficient means of transportation across Algeria.
