DZWatch Exclusive: Several regions across northern Algeria are bracing for a period of unsettled weather, with heavy rainfall predicted for tomorrow, Sunday. According to meteorological reports, an active weather disturbance is expected to bring significant precipitation to numerous provinces.
While the northern regions will experience relatively warm conditions, cloud cover is anticipated to increase throughout the central and eastern areas. The western provinces are likely to see fluctuating weather patterns, alternating between sunny spells and showers.
The provinces most likely to be affected by heavy rainfall include: Mostaganem, Oran, Sidi Bel Abbes, Tlemcen, Ghilizane, Mascara, Tiaret, Saida, Naama, El Bayadh, Tissemsilt, Medea, Djelfa, Bouira, Tizi Ouzou, and Bejaia. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions and stay informed about potential disruptions.
Coastal temperatures are forecast to range between 24 and 28 degrees Celsius, while inland areas can expect temperatures between 21 and 27 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds may reach up to 50 kilometers per hour in some locations.
In contrast, the southern regions of Algeria are expected to enjoy sunny conditions with temperatures ranging from 25 to 36 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds in the south are predicted to reach up to 40 kilometers per hour.
