Algiers – The 13th session of the Algerian-Vietnamese Joint Commission for Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation commenced today in Algiers. The meeting signals a renewed commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
The proceedings are being co-chaired by Mr. Kheireddine Ben Aissa, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Industry of Algeria, and Mr. Nguyen Tuong Van, Deputy Minister of Construction of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Discussions are expected to focus on a range of collaborative opportunities, including boosting trade, investment, and technology transfer. Key sectors of interest include industry, agriculture, energy, and infrastructure development.
“This session provides a valuable platform to review existing collaborations and identify new avenues for mutually beneficial partnerships,” stated Mr. Ben Aissa during the opening remarks. He emphasized Algeria’s commitment to fostering stronger economic ties with Vietnam.
Mr. Nguyen Tuong Van echoed these sentiments, highlighting Vietnam’s interest in expanding cooperation with Algeria across various sectors. He expressed confidence that the discussions would yield concrete outcomes and contribute to the further development of bilateral relations.
