Urgent Call to Investors: Submit Project Progress Reports

Algiers, Algeria – The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) has issued an urgent call to all investors with projects registered through the single-window system.

The AAPI is urging investors to submit their annual project progress reports to ensure compliance with Law 22-18 related to investment. This request is crucial for maintaining eligibility for incentives and benefits.

The agency emphasized that submitting these reports is essential for monitoring the implementation of investment projects and continuing to benefit from the advantages granted to investors under Algerian law. Failure to submit the required annual progress report may result in the cancellation of the project registration certificate and the revocation of all associated privileges.

The AAPI has urged all investors who have not yet submitted their reports to contact the single window where their projects were initially registered as soon as possible to regularize their legal standing. This step is vital for continued operational benefits and compliance.

This directive is part of the government’s broader effort to enhance transparency, improve the investment climate, and meticulously monitor development projects across Algeria.

These measures underscore the government’s commitment to fostering a robust and transparent investment landscape, ensuring that projects are effectively implemented and contribute to the nation’s economic growth. The AAPI’s proactive approach aims to streamline processes and support investors in navigating the regulatory framework effectively.
