Constantine, Algeria – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune today laid the foundation stone for a new 500-bed University Hospital Center in Constantine. The ceremony took place during a working and inspection visit to the province.
The President received detailed explanations regarding the project, which will be built on a 20-hectare site. The new hospital will feature 24 specialized departments covering a wide range of medical disciplines.
The facility will also include a dedicated pedagogical wing with a capacity of 1,000 seats, designed to support medical education and training. This addition underscores the government’s commitment to fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
This project is a key component of the government’s broader strategy to improve healthcare infrastructure and access to quality medical services across the country.
