Several Palestinians have been injured in separate incidents involving settler violence and Israeli military actions across the occupied West Bank, according to reports from the ground.
In the northern Jerusalem area, specifically in the Arab al-Ma’azi community near Jaba’, reports indicate that settlers, allegedly under the protection of Israeli forces, assaulted local residents. Details regarding the severity of the injuries remain limited, but the incident has heightened tensions in the area.
Further west, in the town of Beit Ur al-Tahta, six Palestinians reportedly sustained injuries following an attack by settlers. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated.
Meanwhile, near Hebron in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces conducted a raid into the western part of Beit Ummar. The reasons for the incursion remain unclear.
In Qalqilya, located in the northwest of the West Bank, two Palestinians were reportedly wounded by live fire during an Israeli military incursion. Local sources state that Israeli forces entered the city from its eastern entrance, raiding the Kafr Saba neighborhood and deploying live ammunition and tear gas. The two injured individuals were shot in their lower extremities and subsequently transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
South of Tubas, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces reportedly entered the al-Far’a refugee camp. Reports indicate that several Israeli military vehicles entered the camp, with soldiers deploying throughout the marketplace.
Additionally, near Bethlehem, a Palestinian worker was reportedly shot and wounded in his lower extremities by Israeli forces in the Wadi al-Hummus area. He was also taken to hospital.
These incidents occur amidst a backdrop of escalating daily attacks allegedly carried out by settlers, often under the protection of the Israeli military, as well as ongoing raids into Palestinian cities and towns throughout the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
Since October 7, 2023, attacks in the West Bank have resulted in the deaths of 1078 Palestinians.
