Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, affirmed that the extraordinary general assembly of the Housing and Regional Shelter Company “Shelter Africa” was an ideal opportunity to discuss how to capitalize on the Algerian experience in the housing sector.
Belaribi, in a press conference following consultations with the CEO and Chairwoman of the Board of “Shelter Africa,” explained that “the meeting was very fruitful, where we introduced the Algerian experience in the housing sector, characterized by 100% Algerian building materials.”
He added, “It is an ideal opportunity to share our experience with our African brothers, and this collaboration will be at a high level.”
Belaribi mentioned that his sector distributed 400,000 housing units of various types in 2023, in addition to 265 public facilities.
