CAF Pro License Course Concludes First Session in Algeria

Algiers, Algeria – The first session of the CAF Pro license coaching course for the second cohort of Algerian coaches has concluded in Algiers, according to a statement released by the Algerian Football Federation (FAF).

The intensive course, designed to equip coaches with the highest level of expertise and qualifications recognized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), aims to elevate the standard of football coaching across the nation. The program is a key component of FAF’s strategy to enhance the quality of Algerian football at all levels, from grassroots development to professional leagues.

The rigorous curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including advanced tactical strategies, player management, sports science, and leadership skills. Participants engage in theoretical sessions, practical exercises, and match analysis to deepen their understanding of modern football coaching methodologies.

“This course is vital for the development of our coaches and, by extension, the future of Algerian football,” stated a FAF spokesperson. “By providing our coaches with access to the best training and resources, we are investing in the long-term success of our national teams and clubs.”

The CAF Pro license is the highest coaching qualification in African football, enabling holders to manage professional clubs and national teams across the continent. The FAF hopes that this initiative will produce a new generation of highly skilled and qualified coaches who can contribute to the growth and competitiveness of Algerian football on the international stage. The next session of the course is scheduled for early next year.
