Algeria’s Land Forces Commander Meets Chinese Ambassador

Algiers, Algeria – Lieutenant General Mustapha Smaili, Commander of the Land Forces, received His Excellency Gongli Dong, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Algeria, today, Sunday, November 30, 2025. The meeting took place at the Land Forces headquarters in Algiers.

According to a statement released by the Ministry of National Defense, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Algerian and Chinese armed forces, particularly in the realm of land forces.
