Algiers, October 31, 2025 – The President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Brahim Ghali, has conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Algeria on the 71st anniversary of its November Revolution. In a message addressed to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President Ghali emphasized the revolution’s enduring impact on liberation movements worldwide.
The Sahrawi Press Agency released the congratulatory message, in which President Ghali stated: “On the occasion of the seventy-first anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious First of November Revolution, it gives me great pleasure, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people and government of the Sahrawi Republic, to extend to Your Excellency, and through you, to the fraternal Algerian people as a whole, my warmest congratulations and sincerest wishes for further progress, advancement, and prosperity.”
He further added that the anniversary is a moment to reflect on the heroic history of resistance and struggle. He highlighted the November Revolution’s role in forging Algeria’s glory and legacy, making its people an example of resilience and unwavering faith for oppressed populations globally. President Ghali noted that the Sahrawi people stand in solidarity with Algeria, recalling the transformative impact of the revolution on the region and the world.
“The flame of the revolution quickly spread, illuminating the path of oppressed peoples towards liberation and independence,” President Ghali stated.
He also acknowledged Algeria’s achievements under President Tebboune’s leadership, particularly its progress in various fields and its growing regional and international influence. He praised Algeria’s commitment to building a “New Algeria” that embodies the principles of the November Revolution and the aspirations of the Algerian people.
