Three Israelis have been injured in separate stabbing and car ramming incidents in the West Bank within the past 24 hours. The alleged perpetrators were killed by Israeli forces, according to reports.
Two Israelis were wounded in a stabbing attack near the settlement of Ateret, in the Ramallah district. Initial reports indicate the victims were soldiers from the Paratroopers Brigade. The Israeli military stated that the attacker attempted to stab soldiers and was “immediately neutralized.” Israeli emergency services provided first aid to the injured at the scene.
Following the stabbing, the Israeli army deployed reinforcements to Ateret and imposed a blockade on nearby Palestinian villages.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces reportedly killed a Palestinian man who allegedly carried out a car ramming attack north of Hebron. The ramming resulted in injuries to one Israeli soldier. According to security sources, troops from Battalion 202 of the Israeli army carried out the operation.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the deceased as 17-year-old Muhannad al-Zughayyar, stating he was killed by Israeli forces in Hebron. The ministry also claimed that Israeli forces are withholding the bodies of two Palestinians from Hebron and Beit Rima who were allegedly shot and killed.
The car ramming incident occurred near the Kiryat Arba settlement south of the West Bank. The Israeli military reported that the attack took place at the Yehuda junction in the Hebron area. The injured soldier was transported to a hospital for treatment. The army stated that soldiers fired upon the perpetrator and confirmed a hit before pursuing him and conducting a search operation.
