Tubas, West Bank – Israeli forces continued their operations in the city of Tubas and the adjacent town of Aqaba in the northern West Bank for a second consecutive day, according to local sources.
Reports indicate that Israeli troops raided and searched numerous homes, converting some into temporary military posts. Several commercial establishments were also forcibly shut down by the occupying forces.
Kamal Bani Odeh, Director of the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society in Tubas, stated that Israeli forces detained 18 Palestinians in Tubas and Aqaba. Seven of those detainees have since been released.
The ongoing military presence includes patrols throughout Tubas and Aqaba, with infantry units deployed in various neighborhoods. The intensified activity has raised concerns among residents. The Israeli military has yet to release a statement regarding the operations.
